THE RANCH

The home of the Mini Joys outreach is a small acreage located in the NW Boise Foothills, between the Hidden Springs area and Eagle.  This piece of property was purchased because of it's beauty as a small "oasis in the desert".  A natural tree lined creek provides greenery and shade, and the sound of the running water is extremely relaxing.

A creek runs into a large pond and wildlife abounds on this little piece of paradise. From the cotton tailed bunnies, to hundreds of quail, song birds, wild turkeys, and deer, the mini herd has happily settled in to this peaceful place.

Program guests always love the serene setting as they enjoy refreshments in the picnic area or around the fire pit, following the hands-on horse time.  During the teaching programs, life-lessons are taught and the students participate in impactful discussions in this quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

The newest addition to the ranch includes a beautiful Tree House with an access path so that ALL of our guests can enjoy it!  Our friends with a variety of mobility challenges are able to enjoy snacks or lunch, along with a teaching time up in the Tree House with a beautiful view overlooking the creek and barn.  This was an all-volunteer effort, and we thank those who gave their time and donations to make it a reality.  It brings so much JOY!

Mini Joys, a place to visit
Welcome to the Mini Joys Ranch

"When I stepped onto the quiet, peaceful property, I immediately felt my heavy burdens start to lift.  It is truly a place to be restored, to smile again, and to regain hope. Thank you to all the volunteers who made us feel so welcomed and loved"!                                                                                                    Beth, a program guest
